The Simply Bar: Top Pick of the Week!

No frills. Very simple.  Gluten-free, dairy-free, lower in calories, lower glycemic index and higher in protein!  That’s what you’ll get from The Simply Bar.  These bars are excellent for athletes on gluten-free diets.  The kind folks from The Simply Bar sent me a package chocked full of samples of their bars to try.  It was perfect for fueling my bike rides.  They are incredibly light, but yet very filling.  They don’t have an overpowering sugary flavor like most of the GF protein bars that I’ve tried.  The Simply Bar is an ideal “travelling companion” to have with you on a long hike, bikeride, airplane, or just as a snack.  There’s 8 flavors: Caramel,  Cinnamon, Cocoa Coffee, Lemon Coconut, Peanut Butter Chocolate, Cocoa Raspberry, Caramel Peanut, and Cinnamon Pecan.  I tried most of them (minus the ones that have foods that I’m sensitive to like coconut), and I must say that the Cinnamon Pecan was my absolute favorite!  It brought back fond memories of eating Pecan Pie with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top:)  How delicious!
